Cost Per Booked Consultation (CPBC)

What it costs to put one qualified consultation on your calendar — total spend divided by booked consultations. The metric our guarantee rides on.

Definition

Cost Per Booked Consultation is the average cost to land one qualified consultation on your calendar, found by dividing total ad spend by the number of consultations booked. It's the master metric of the system because it sits one step closer to revenue than cost per lead — it counts only the inquiries that actually became booked appointments.

In depth

CPBC is mostly within our control, which is what makes it safe to guarantee on. It breaks down into two parts — cost per lead from the Inbound Pipeline Engine, and the rate at which our booking engine converts those leads. Improve either and the cost falls.

We scope the guarantee against a deliberately conservative CPBC and forecast against the expected one; the gap between them is a built-in safety margin. That discipline is why the promised number holds even in a bad month — and why we tie it to a minimum funded ad budget.

The formula

CPBC = Total Ad Spend ÷ Booked Consultations (equivalently, CPL ÷ booking rate)

Worked example

Example

Spend $3,000 in a month that books 10 consultations and your CPBC is $300. Lift the booking rate so the same spend books 12, and CPBC drops to $250.
